At the University of Arizona up to 400 students study abroad in the fall or spring and an amazing 1,000 students can study abroad for a summer. These students also have the opportunity to study in over 50 countries around the world.
But even though schools like UA offer great study abroad opportunities the students are still having trouble paying for these foreign trips.

According to an article in the Philadelphia Inquirer:
* The number of students who study abroad has doubled from 100,000 to 200,000 over the past decade
* Over 900 U.S. higher education institutions offer study abroad programs
