Rowan University, a public university located in Glassboro, New Jersey, recently announced that it will be putting on a benefit concert to raise money for the Josefina and Enrique Study Abroad Scholarship Fund.

If you’d like to study in Asia for a summer or fall study abroad program, then the Philips Ambassadors scholarship program is for you. Twice a year students are chose for this special ambassador program, and this year 22 UNC-Chapel Hill undergraduate students from Raleigh were the recipients.

Students who may not have been able to afford to study abroad in a variety of study abroad locations due to financial difficulties may now have the opportunity to do just this thanks to a new bill that honors late Illinois senator Paul Simon.

Four lucky students at Purdue University Calumet each received a $1,800 Honors Study Abroad Scholarship for a summer study abroad program at a study abroad location of their choosing. They were chosen after writing an essay on why they would like to travel abroad.

Unfortunately, not all students can afford to join a study abroad program and to pay for the expenses attached to it. That’s why study abroad scholarships, like the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship, are so great! These scholarships allow students to travel to diverse countries and form a better understanding of foreign cultures, language and education.
